LITERATE • SUPERNATURAL • MATURE • MULTI-SPECIES
about
cryptic reality is a supernatural human roleplay that is on forum only. the setting of the roleplay takes place on a mysterious peninsula known as cryptic falls where supernatural creatures live among mortals in secret - being that humans would either kill or fear them if they knew who they truly were. characters can withhold professions, own businesses, attend schooling, form relationships - the possibilities are endless. There are multiple areas around the forum with different businesses, places, and other establishments to fit just about any character.

*Disclaimer: most of these species' backgrounds and powers are a mashup of ideas from television series and have a lot of headcanon so if you prefer realistic lore and information about the above - you will not like this roleplay.
groups
each species listed above can form groups and have allies / enemies in the roleplay. most have their own personal group, but for those who do not discriminate against other species - there is a section for intermixed groups.
